Neighborhood Networks (NN) is a HUD initiative that was established to enhance the self-sufficiency, employability, and economic self-reliance of low-income families and the elderly living in HUD-insured and assisted properties by providing residents with access to computer and training resources.

NN in Spokane is a community-based initiative to build computer learning centers that provide education, information, and employment opportunities to residents in HUD's Multifamily Housing through Kiemle and Hagood Co. managed properties. Property owners, residents, and managers work together to develop partnerships with local businesses, churches, schools, private foundations, and other community organizations to create, operate, and sustain the Neighborhood Networks Centers that help support each community.

Neighborhood Networks emphasizes providing hope and positive focus to residents about the future; it’s presence has be a factor in cutting crime and vandalism.
